Rated 1 out of 5 by from Access code doesn't work without a CD Do not buy the physical CD with digital download unless you have a CD player. The packaging says you can use the access code OR the CD, this is not true. After waiting on hold for 5 hours, I finally spoke with a person from TurboTax who tried to convince me that I needed to log in with a different account to intuit, even though the CD was purchased from Costco and was not associated with any account. I spoke with the agent for an hour, trying to explain to him that I did not have a computer with a CD player and that no other person had used the code to download, but that the error message suggested that the license code was somehow connected to a different account. He was incredibly unhelpful and did not understand how CDs work, nor did he help me find a solution. I had to go to a store and buy a device that allows me to use a CD with my laptop via USB. What a waste of time and money. Next year, I will not be using TurboTax, what a joke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Overpriced Overall simplicity on this site is the best, but after the price you HAVE to pay you are better off doing research on your own and if you are only filing W-2 just go through the IRS website. If you know you have multiple incomes and tax breaks by all means this is a very simple website to use.

Each year, the tax law get more complicated, however, "TT" make the "Crazy" more sane. The free Fed file has been helpful. The state file is just as easy to understand with the information "popups". yeah, see ya next year TT....
