Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is good, but still needs improvements. Turbo is good as it works with you step by step and gives some explanation, but it still can us more improvements in giving more definition of what things mean and provide more examples. On the states side, wish it was as explainable as the federal side.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Going in circles Extremely stressful. I have a sleep condition, virtually narcolepsy and I felt like I was ran around in circles. It took me over 15 minutes to try and find the error it spoke of and even at that Im not too sure I fixed wverything bc I couldnt find my way back to one of the questions about accepting disaster , kind of important dont you think. Now here I am after midnight, late with my taxes after a 44 min est turned into a 3hr fiasco. BTW, I dont appreciate the "slick" upsells. Saying more is very deceiving, just state the total price, it looks shady.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stressful and confusing with investments Overall nice format of the website, but anything complicated and I was completely lost on how to handle it. I had 150 trades and it was asking for information on each of them, but it wouldn't tell me what it wanted until the very end during final review. Then the bulk feature wasn't working (wasn't applying the change). Then it kept missing things to fix (like my Chase form didn't have my address, but it only asked me to fill in my state...then later asked for the city, then on last review asked for my street address - it should have caught all that the initial review time). It's like i kept clicking to review and file forever. Just over and over, like due just find all the mistakes at once and let me submit. So many screens (and screens tricking you into paying for other stuff, not cool, not okay). And the help section didn't actually help you out - probably just trying to get us to pay for the expert person who can come help you. Anyway, I ended up filing late by 11 minutes. The timer at the top was wrong apparently (unless I get until Hawaii time to file).
