Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used for many, many years-on-line and tax program I have used for many years and would probably always use Turbo Tax. HOWEVER, this year the program seemed to not run as smoothly with transferring info etc. I'm sure some of this might have been my need to switch to a different computer system though it just did not seem to run as smoothly as my previous experiences. I do believe that all financial info should automatically be transferred!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fix 1099 B downloads with wash sale Turbotax needs to have better explanation about how to enter summary 1099 B from Fidelity or other brokerages for lot of transactions with wash sale. Also, work with IRS on giving an option to upload PDF for stock transactions vs physically mailing 100s of pages.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced and Frustrating The website itself is a pain to navigate. It kept sending me back to the same forms I had just filled out. Only filed with turbo as I thought I could electronically file my state taxes, only to find out after paying that this was not the case. Nearly every step of the way I was upsold for a variety of services I didn't need. This was originally sold to me as a free tax service but had to pay over $120 for a 1099 filing (a two page document) and of course $59 for each state. I had to pay over $200, which ended up being nearly a quarter of my total returns. If it were not that I was filing so close to the deadline and that I have no interest in trying this all over again I wouldn't be filing with turbo tax. Never again.
