Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Amendment Process I am a contract worker so I have a lot of 1099s to file and one didn't come in time for the original tax deadline. So I paid the original $173 to file my taxes thinking that it would cover me for this tax year. And then I went to amend my taxes when I finally got my tax form and they had me pay another $173 dollars. Which is more than I had to pay to the state in my ammendment! I am a young professional and I dont have $173 to spend.
