Rated 5 out of 5 by from Taxes Made Easy This is my second year using Turbo Tax for my tax filing preparation and once again, I am very satisfied with it's ease of use. If I had any questions, they were easy answered and I didn't spend much time "trying to figure it out". Keep up the great and thank you to the team at Turbo Tax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helpful until the payment options Loved the ease of use, ability to import information, answers to specific items were clear and not full of legalese, and navigation through all the tax options were streamlined. Would have given 5 stars except they were going to charge $40 to deduct preparation cost from my refund. That is ridiculously pricey. Took me 20 minutes of backing through the app to figure out how to change this selection to pay with my credit card. I went from pleasantly surprised at Turbo's ease of use to frustration be the time I filed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was lacking for 2020 It started when I signed on, then I waited in limbo. Finally I realized it was checking for updates, etc. but gave me no indication what was going on. Later, I found it difficult to return to a previous screen without starting over in that process. You should always include a path out. The file screens were also difficult, again , it left you in limbo or stuck you on a screen with no was out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a good product, UX could use more work When getting ready to file, if your returns require you to mail-in instead of e-file know that it's not entirely obvious what your next steps are until you start clicking through to the payment screen. Overall the product is good, but it's riddled with all of these marketing upsells that you have to be very careful you don't accidentally upgrade the services you've selected. It's also a bit of a shame that when you pay for upgraded tax support with a Live tax consultant that most of the time the product is trying to have you use their self-service tools. You have to take quite a few steps to schedule meeting with a live tax consultant, seems like a lot of work for a customer who has ALREADY paid for the premium services. I also scheduled a meeting with a live tax consultant, but the meeting was weeks out and so I gave up and decided to figure out for myself how to finish my returns. It really feels like there should be more premium support if i'm paying the premium for live tax support, otherwise what benefits am I getting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! We used for years until taxes got a bit too complicated. Now we are back using it and it was so easy, and helped us to make sure we got everything correct. Was a little nervous, but am glad we made the choice to use TurboTax again.
