Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax Has Deteriorated I have been using Intuit TTax almost from the very first version and have generally been fully satisfied when I checked the results of the software against my own direct computations. Not this year. The inaccuracies are frequent and annoying -- in five places there were simple, inexplicable arithmetic errors. Ultimately, I had to pay $50 extra in tax as a consequence of these software flaws. But because I could not override the computed values or even find out why they would have been differently calculated, I went ahead and paid the IRS. It is sufficiently irritating that I will be looking into alternatives next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is good. Turbo Tax is good. We had a lot of new things to deal with on our return but they helped us through it. Things were confusing at times and we were left wondering why on some things. However, as we continued with the return, it became clear. On the 8949 I just entered the information from the summary sheet, and the information was entered by TT at the right place on the 8949 and the Schedule D. Biggest complaint is with Schedule A, itemized deductions. I would like to have the option to choose to do it or take the standard deduction. There should be an easier way for that decision without having to enter information to TT.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never using this again Turbo Tax has several hidden fees that you end up just going with because the process is tedious and takes a minute. They kind of force you to pay, its not free at all. I'd rather have someone do my taxes for me and for the same amount that im paying Turbo Tax just to do on my own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost excellent Had minor issue that was answered with a call back in 15minutes and solved immediately by Iris, great experience. Working around Qualified Charitable Distributions was confusing. Turbo wouldn't send my final in until I modified one field that still confuses me. I had identified amt as QCD but had to specify taxable. Refund didn't change. I'm still confused.
