Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax is poor for cryptocurrency Turbotax is poor for reporting cryptocurrency gains/losses. When I search the blogs/websites, I see that may other people have same problems as me. Plus, there are messages saying that you need the "online" version of Turbotax to be able to download data from cryptocurrency companies. To have a difference between the CD and online versions of Turbotax is totally unacceptable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Software is great, live "experts" are useless Four hours and four people later (3 of whom were supposed to be "self-empl tax experts") I still do not have an answer about where to put employer's HSA contribution on Schedule C. Everyone's been nice & tried hard but they are simply not tax professionals in any meaningful sense. They gave me links to unvetted third-party CPA firm's sites (!), kept trying to answer a different question about HSA W2 reporting and sent me TT Community links about THAT question, their questions made it clear they don't really understand business expenses even conceptually, and I actually ended up sending *them* IRS links. They finally escalated again but 24 hours later I still do not have the promised email answer. I would never pay for this again. Lesson learned.
