It took me three hours to complete a relatively simple return but it would have been a whole lot worse, including unknown errors, if I had tried to do it on my own. I got a neat typewritten form that is stored by Turbo Tax for future reference and I was able to print my own copy for quick reference. The $120 fee for both federal and state returns is less than I would have to pay a tax preparer as the time I spent doing it myself was not an economic issue for me. I’ve used Turbo Tax for a number of years and see no reason to change.
