Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too redundant and too many steps I've been filing taxes for 30 years and I find this product to be very cumbersome. You have to enter the same information in so many places and it hides things that you need to enter in many sections. No need to separate business and rentals from personal income. Just put all income in one section and all deductions in another section for convenience. Everyone can understand that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from turbox tax is somewhat easy I had some issues while filing my taxes, I had to fill in forms that didn't apply to me, and when I put the info, it allowed me to continue but then I went back in to finish and I headed into the same issue and then turned out I no longer had to fill out the forms. This must be a turbo tax error that needs to be fixed. I talked to an expert and she helped me a lot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax State Refund This is my second year using Turbo Tax, and the second year I have had trouble filing my State Income Taxes. Last year I paid the fee for filing, but was unable to e-file. I had to print and mail the return. Turbo Tax did refund my fee, but it was inconvenient. This year I purchased the one that included a free filing of the state taxes. It even stated that it was free before I finished filing. Then when it came time to e-file, it asked for $20. Since I have waited until the last minute to file, I decided to go ahead and pay the fee, with the intention of contacting Turbo Tax during business hours to address the issue. Once I entered my credit card number, the fee was increased to $25.00 with no explanation of why the extra $5.00. The program is great, it is easy to use and easy to understand. However, the extra fees and charges leave a bad taste for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Streamlined Tax Returns Have been using Turbo Tax for the last 5 years and it has been a very easy experience. Notifications of submission and acceptance are great. Software calculates everything as it walks through all the steps.
