I live in Montana, which is not supported through the program, so I still needed to resolve state separately when I thought that the state was available. I understand this is a separate fee for state as well, but the program does not support my state and no mention of this prior to purchase.

I had difficulty understanding how to determine amount not taxable in Iowa--Box 14 on the 1099R--which is amount withheld for Iowa tax. That that was the number to use was not intuitive to me. I hope I entered the correct number. Telephone call back was usually helpful. Sometimes background noise or use of a speaker phone was distracting. I would like to have been able to access worksheets while entering information. It appears that I can only do that once a return has been filed. When reviewing previous return I would like to have been able to see the answers I entered INCLUDING the screens that would show what boxes or buttons I marked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax 2021 tax year Seems like it ask some different questions and I had trouble filling out the 1256 contract section. Although I did not have any straddles or strangles in 2021, I did trade options on Index contracts SPX, RUT and NDX. There seemed to not be a clear way to enter these from the 1099-B, section 1256.
