Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slower and Buggier I upgraded from Deluxe to Premier this year. I complete multiple returns for family members. I found that history transferred smoothly. However, all returns were slow to open and updates were slow to process. All returns showed the error indicator in the upper left corner when no errors were present. Of highest concern was that the software blocked the completion of a Pennsylvania Joint return by a surviving spouse in the year of death. It says that PA does not allow a joint return to be filed in that that situation which is absolutely not correct. The stimulus accounting was also unnecessarily complicated. Granted, the line by line instructions on the federal form are needlessly complex but I believe TurboTax could find a way to program around this. If I answer 'yes' to receiving the first a second payment that should be sufficient to prefill the form. The inconvenience is compounded by the fact that Turbo tax waits until you are in the process of filing the return to ask for missing information. There were other less significant annoyances but I will simply close by saying that this year's version was the most problematic I have encountered in many years of using your product.
