Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great - With one Exception This is mostly a great experience. I have been using TurboTax for years and am grateful to have such a great tool to do my own taxes with. The one problem I did have is that I have a user interface complaint. I have a large number of crypto trades, and I live and work in different states. When completing the forms for the state that I work in, I have to go back and forth between pages for each transaction to mark it as exempt from taxes for the state in which I work. That's 3 clicks per transaction, plus I have to manage to find the correct transaction in the list again each time. This was very time consuming, and would have been very fast IF, I had a form that listed the transactions with a checkbox to exempt each transaction from taxes in that state. If things were done that way, 5 stars for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love filing with TurboTax! I have been filing my taxes with TurboTax for the past few years. The interface is easy to use, questions are constantly answered, so much is done FOR you, and so many checks along the way have made me feel at ease in the process of filing my taxes. For as long as I feel able to do my own taxes, I plan to continue to file with TurboTax each year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great software but feel tricked into spending more I've used Turbotax for years. This year was no different and I felt the same satisfaction going through the process that it was helping me maximize my return. But, this year, I was charged a lot more (double) than I had to because I started my return with Live Assisted. In previous years, you were able to start entering info and then pick the Turbo Tax plan that best suited your needs--and even change it along the way. This year--and I may have missed the step where I chose it, but I honestly don't remember an option--I started entering my info and then was surprised to see my bill for Live Assisted. I never used the Live Assisted and didn't use the live review. So, I feel I spent ~$100 for something I never used. By the time I noticed, I couldn't switch to another plan. And, I honestly just wasn't in the mood to start all over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Made Filing My Tax Return Easy! The software is easy to use. I especially appreciated the ability to add my W-2 using the cell phone photo feature. I also appreciated the ease with which Turbo Tax added the information from my two investment 1099s.
