Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't use TurboTax again! Had several issues with the software which prolonged the process. Software had multiple issues saving - sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Support didn't respond to our request for assistance. Software requested an "update" which overwrote our initial return ~45% complete at the time. The data imports didn't work. We will not use TurboTax again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo tax live is made Easy! I was initially worried about submitting documents and pertinent info, but their system is easy to use and the experts can communicate quickly with you. It made a stressful experience easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Awesome Not sure how many years I've been using Turbo Tax, but it is many at this point. Some new changes this year made it much easier than years past. Always worth paying just a bit more to have access to talking with tax experts. I utilize them any chance I get. Thank you for another year of helping me complete my Boring Taxes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing, switching to another service Thrice in a row Intuit has made things unintuitive with the intent of charging people for services they do not need. Two years ago, I did my return online to find out that there is no actual free return option for state and since I already paid and submitted the return, Intuit refused to provide a refund. Last year I got around this by purchasing a Desktop copy from Costco, the only issue was check out kept looping around and around trying to force me to buy premium services and audit protection, both of wish I do not need or want. This year, instead of a looping series of prompts there is a misleading prompt stating if you want to e-file and use your refund to pay for the "free" state return that I thought was coming with this software when I bought it via Amazon.com, I need to pay for the premium service. Turns out, if you just pay with your credit card you don't have to do this. Intuit, stop doing this. If you need more money, charge more up front for your software. Don't force customers to pay for services or benefits they do not want or need. Not coming back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good I've used turbo tax for years and this year i needed some help so i upgraded to speak to a live tax expert...once we got there it was good, but i kept being sent to product support and they called me, put me on hold for over an hour and i still spoke to product support!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes my taxes so easy! I've been using TurboTax for years and it seems to get better every year. I like having my prior years tax forms available to me online. I like how the software walks through the tax items and explains each. I like how it imports last years information to jumpstart the process. Most of all, I love that it saves me so much time! Tax season stinks, but at leastTurboTax makes it bearable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Confusing site but it's really the only option I find the site super confusing and hard to navigate, particularly the self-employed version. The questions are very unclear. I think questions structured as double negatives on tax instructions just leads to a poor user experience. It's hard to follow along. The branding is pretty, though.
