Rated 2 out of 5 by from More Expensive, Endlessly Upselling The experience is easy enough, but we lower-middle income earners take a beating each year by having to pay a large portion of our refund out to TurboTax just to file our taxes. The constant upselling is blended in with normal steps in the process to fool people into clicking higher packages that cost significantly more. In addition to the costs, there are fees on everything - from taking the payment out of your refund (which guarantees their payment but somehow costs far more), to processing cards, and more. The only reason I'm still using TurboTax is because they have all my records so far, but I am considering other options for next year due to the high prices.
