Rated 4 out of 5 by from self Employed tax return with Live assistance I've been using Turbo Tax since 2013, but my self-employment status has only been a factor in the last 4 years. Up until this year, I would say that Turbo Tax has been priced great, easy, and I've raved about it. This year isn't such a happy scenario. I paid extra to get the live assistance, which I needed when I had an entry that seemed to conflict on two different forms. I elected for a live call, which I received both times within the promised 5 minutes, and both times it started with an automated announcement that the turbo tax live team was calling to assist with my return. The announcement was followed by silence and within minutes the call disconnected. After two unsuccessful tries at a live call, I elected for a live chat, but waited for almost 10 minutes and received no response. I ended up spending quite a bit of extra time going back through all the entries on the form in question, finally figured it out on my own, and I'm pretty unhappy that I paid $209 for self-employed with live assistance. I get that it's busy and it's high tax season, but if you offer a service and a promise to have an agent available within a certain period of time, then meet that promise, or offer a discount on the live assistance program if you can't be there when needed. Other than that, I really do like Turbo Tax. I just won't opt for live assistance in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is AWESOME!!!! I finally got the nerves to do my own taxes last year & it was easy. This year was even better because all I had to do was take a picture of my W-2 form & everything went to the proper place. Thank you Turbo Tax keep up the good work!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Forces Fees that dont help Forced two seperate fees that said it would help but didnt change my income at all. lost 3800 from stocks and had to upgrade turbo tax to file them but in the end it didnt get me any more money
