Serious deficiencies for Georgia partnerships
Turbo tax has some serious software deficiencies. First when filing a Georgia Partnership return you cannot file electronically unless your fill out a form that has to do with movie partnerships. This is ridiculous. Most partnership have nothing to do with movie production. At this point you have already paid to file Georgia Tax electronically, so you have to print out your forms and mail them in. So you cannot electronically file a Partnership Georgia forms unless you are a movie making organization. Second, when you go to produce K-1 forms for each partnership they only let you save them on your desktop. The dialog gives you no place to save these forms except the desktop directory you cannot move to another directory. Did a high school programmer write this user interface. Third the Asset & Liabilities balance work sheet is a joke. Instead of letting the user itemize their assets to sum up. You can only put in a balance so you can verify what assets are summed up in that one number.

TurboTax is not always workable
A problem with Turbo Tax is it doesn't allow you to do a partial disposition on property that you replaced the roof in the current year. As a result, you are still depreciating the old roof that was replaced, and you are depreciating the new roof.

I filed my business taxes!
I was not able to import the data from QuickBooks, but I was able to do it manually without a hitch.

Better than last year but still sloppy
You can tell that the focus at Intuit is with the individual tax forms. Business interview is poorly conceived.

Generally helpful, with unexplained decisions
I've love using TurboTax for Business for years. Every year there's a little hiccup. This year for example it claimed that there was an underpayment, even though this business operated like every other year. There was no explanation, and it was impossible to get out of this. Similarly, it wanted some entry about past losses and end in an endless loop until I re-entered some information.

Needs some work
One one occasion TurboTax added a form I did NOT need to file. It took me several hours and Google research to figure out how to remove this form. I was very frustrated!

Wish it was a Mac
TurboTax Business is very helpful and easy to use. I just wish it was available for Mac, so I wouldn't have to own a PC for the sole purpose of preparing my corporate tax returns.

Good program, wished for Oregon filing
Clear cut instructions with definitions. However, I wish I could file the Oregon state return with TurboTax Business.
