Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo tax is less explanatory now. Frustrating to not be able to go back without redoing so much. Our return should have been simple. I find it frustrating to be told that state filing is $40 but when time comes to pay, it's $50. "Just pay us more and we'll help you." "Pay more and we'll protect you." The job got done, but I might do a little more research before I jump back into Turbo next year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They charge double for state filings! They don't add anything for state filings. They just put what you said from the federal filing into the state filing, which saves all of 5 or 10 minutes if you're a normal person. They don't educate you on state filings. They don't find any good deductions or credits for you. They just charge you $50 without telling you until the end. Really awful business practice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use! I think turbo tax has got to be the easiest online filing process i've every used for taxes. The ONLY thing that kind of annoys me is that it allows you to pay their fees with your tax refund but doesn't tell you it's going to be $40 to use that option??? Why does it cost more to use my refund? Seems bizarre, I'll definitely use a check or credit card next time.
