Rated 5 out of 5 by from TURBO TAX IS AMAZING I was a little nervous this year about filing on my own due to the different stimilus and so I reach out to a tax preparer. Once I started going over my expenses/deductions I realize I knew more than her based on prior filing with TT and I could do better myself ...thanks turbo tax

I had all my income, taxes paid, capital gains, stock sales, deductions neatly organized but you can't just enter data in an easy way. You have to plod though screens and questions and I often found going back it would ask me to add things I knew had been missed.

Our usual tax professional had decided to finally retire the year before and we were unsure of who to trust with assisting us in filing our taxes. We researched well-known tax preparation companies/businesses but they wanted to charge us an "arm and a leg" for simple tax filings. So, we decided to try out Turbo Tax for the first time because their prices were reasonable for their services. Aside from a dropped call due to their automated process which delayed us for one day, the actual staff and tax preparers were extremely kind and knowledgeable. They answered every question that we had and made sure that we would get the highest amount returned to us (either filed as married-jointly or married-separately). It did take over several days to complete the process (I am sure the experience is different for everyone) but their hours were convenient within our work/life schedule. I would highly recommend this service for those who are still unsure about using TurboTax!!
