Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax - the good and the bad Even though I've been using TurboTax for 20+ yrs, this year I had scheduled an appointment with an income tax service to do my taxes. This was due to the fact I retired last year and had what I thought would be complicated tax issues. Then I decided to attempt to do them myself. I was pleasantly surprised at how well TurboTax takes you step by step through each segment of the process. There were parts of the process I was fearing, but was able to pretty much breeze right through them with T/Tx. One downside was T/Tx instructions on how to find last year's tax forms. The instructions were complicated and didn't work. Related to this was the fact my previous year's T/Tx returns were no longer on my computer. I don't know why this happened. Trying to get an online copy of my 2020 tax return from the IRS was a near nightmare. But, all in all, TurboTax is a great service!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from More than expected fee to upgrade to deluxe. More than expected fee to upgrade to Deluxe. Should inform that it is not $39 $39x3. I attempted to downgrade to Regular and cleared the form to start over but it automatically put me back into deluxe. I would not want to spend $117 to file. Also, "24/7 Help" is just a simple question/answer automated system. Deluxe is not what it is advertised to be and 3x the price listed.
