I have had experience submitting both complicated and simple standard deduction returns over several years utilizing the Vanguard Group Investment site. It has been relatively easy with information from the Vanguard Group downloaded directly with accuracy. This year was definitely frustrating and I almost went to H&R Block for help finalizing tax preparation and transmittal. This frustration originated from the 1099R forms submitted by Vanguard in which they were combining a rollover and conversion into one set of numbers. I finally figured out how to go about this and in the end produced the true tax liability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Easy and Thorough Turbo Tax is easy and convenient. I actually was able to get better refunds through Turbo Tax than the tax service I was using. I told my sister about it, and she too received refunds greater than the tax service she was using (my refunds at the time increased $3000 and hers $1500, so very significant).
