Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best way to self-file your fed and state tax I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years now. I use the interview data entry format to make sure I don't miss something. I efile both fed and state taxes. I do wish they would bundle in the state tax e-file charge of $25 like they do for the federal e-file because otherwise you have the hassle of either deducting that fee from your refund, which slows it down and complicates things, or you have the hassle of paying online by credit card. I always purchase the $45 Audit Defense insurance. So far so good. I'm glad that TT Deluxe still includes simple Sched. C for businesses, though they still prompt you to upgrade to a more expensive product.
