Rated 1 out of 5 by from This year was terrible I've been using TurboTax for a couple of decades, but this year was terrible. Every time I wanted to launch TurboTax for Business 2021 it would hang while updating. I had to uninstall and then reinstall, after which it would update one time. Two calls with "support" were no help at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is easy Have used it for 8 years now. Simple, easy, and faster than when I was doing it by hand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Auto upload of information is marginal at best Information is not really automatically uploaded when it says it is, I had to manually enter almost everything that claimed to import. Several sections ask for information with no explanation of where I can find it. I used Turbo Tax last year and several pieces of my personal information (DL number, etc) did not persist from last year

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid with some issues I've used Turbotax forever because of inertia but also because of the helpful user interface, comprehensive guidance, the way you can get extra information without leaving a page, saving progress, and automatically importing key data. What strikes me is that it keeps getting more expensive. I'm paying almost double what I was paying four years ago for the same service. If the increases continue, I may as well go through an accountant. If the price is so expensive because Intuit is getting its money from me rather than third parties buying my data from them, then explain that. It's also extremely irritating that it takes you through an hour long process of entering potential itemized deductions only to tell you to take the standard deduction. Just ask upfront the rough total of charitable donations, healthcare expenses, and other qualifying expenses and then recommend skipping that process entirely. The same kind of thing happened when I was listing healthcare expenses. It broke out doctor's expenses, hospital expenses, and long-term care expenses separately, but I didn't know that in advance, so I ended up having to enter everything twice. It also didn't explain that W2 box 12 code W includes not just contributions an employer makes to an HSA but also contributions I made through withdrawal from my paycheck so I was confused for quite awhile about how to enter that as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Charge teachers to get refund TT charges teachers $118 to get a premium version so teachers can get back the $250 on their tax return. We are already underpaid and under appreciated and spend a minimum of 4 times the $250 that we never will get back.
