I will say, as a sole proprietor with no employees, I found that paying for extras last year, like On-Demand Tax Experts, was not really worth it for me. I didn't actually find them to be very helpful with the questions I had. In fact, I still ended up spending hours Googling things I didn't understand. If your self-employed taxes are relatively simple, just DIY! Basic TurboTax makes it really simple and straightforward. (That said, mine still took all day to prepare...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy easy to use format especially since we use quick books all year long. info was imported and we just had to click boxes and print a few receipts to add to our paperwork before storing it away. seriously for small businesses just starting this was so easy to make work plus with audit protection I felt like im secure if I messed something up definately work the extra money to add the MAX to our file.

They are constantly making updates to make the tax filing process quicker and more enjoyable. If you don't have a complex tax situation then TurboTax is hands down the way to go.
