Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax not catching mistakes I never look forward to using TurboTax but use it because they are pretty much the only product available for helping individuals file their taxes. I found TurboTax this year to skip sections and not ask crucial questions. It also did not catch that I had not received a 1095-A. When I went on the Healthcare Website it indicated that this is a common issue this year. This error was going to cost me almost $900 on my return. Isn't TurboTax supposed to update and catch common issues and direct the consumer to take appropriate action BEFORE the return is rejected by the IRS? Also, if TurboTax is such a good editing program then why have you guys not caught and fixed your landing page right after your return is "filed" It encourages me to "sing up for services next year. Not "sign" up, but "SING" up. While I think, as the wife of a Choral Director, that all people and companies should support the arts and singing, I am confident that this was a typo that is probably costing you business and consumer confidence in your editing skills.
