Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made filing so much easier. I loved how it led me through the whole process, including links I could click on to explain things I was confused about. I did chat with a live expert and she was able to answer my question right away. Sooo much better than waiting in line at the tax preparer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hesitant to pay but worth it So I've used TurboTax free edition for year and I thought this year would be no different, but like many, my 2020 was all kinds of crazy and so was my tax situation. I was salty that I had to pay and was tempted to just pull out the 1040 instruction and file myself by mail. Thank God I didn't. It costs me $140 to file, but there were things that Turbo tax knew about the changing tax laws (American Rescue Plan) that I wouldn't have had a clue about and it wouldn't have been in the 1040 instructions. I would have lost $500 easily. Instead, I got a little extra on my refund. I usually owe or break even. I actually got a decent refund and virtually no stress.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This program functions OK, for the price TurboTax works well, if you know what you are doing. Getting decent help is very difficult. Either questions must be asked using the correct words or you don't get an answer and finding what works is occasionally trial and error, mostly error in my case. But, my needs are simple - one source of income and a few brokerage accounts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not The Same Your program drove me around the bend. It got stuck in a loop on review, and I spent over four hours trying to figure out how to fix it. I went through three different chats, and they all closed the chat before my issue was resolved. I finally requested a call. The agent was very helpful, both with the program and with my return, and for that I'm grateful, but this program becomes more difficult and expensive each year. I don't know if I'll use turbotax next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank the heavens for Turbo Tax Although I had to do an amended return due to a corrected 1099 and a very late K1 form, Turbo Tax made it a breeze. Thank Goodness!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbotax is Excellent! Turbotax is was an excellent software to do your taxes in a quick and easy fashion. The software takes you through step by step on the changes that occur in your life, then it inputs the associated information into the current tax forms that you are working on. Turbotax is a good tool for everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax gets it done w/a few bumps along the way I have used TurboTax for many year, usually with little or no issues. TurboTax has saved me a lot of headaches over the years. That said, this year there were issues with entering RSUs and I contacted TurboTax. I was told I would get an email when the fixes were implemented so I could continue my return. Never got an email but the fix was in place sometime mid-March (I checked early April). e-file charge showed $20 but was charged $25. Contacted TurboTax to get a refund on the overcharge. Might have to work bit for it but TurboTax gets the job done.
