Rated 1 out of 5 by from Downhill Turbo tax has seemed to be going downhill the past few years to the point that this year my returns were rejected, even after turbo tax said there were no errors on my return before I submitted them; only to get them rejected because of the IP Pin, which the software NEVER asked me to input during the process. For the price, its not worth the frustration. I will be looking elsewhere next year.

From my time as an employee, to being unemployed, to now being self-employed, TT has been with me every step of the way. They make it easy to do my taxes regardless of the changes that are happening in my life or business, and when I do make a mistake, I know I can amend taxes easily with them or call their tax experts to ask for help. I also appreciate how TT has all of my information saved over the years, how they give examples of explanations of things I have questions on, and how they continuously strive to make the process fast and easy. I won't use any other program but TurboTax. Thank you, TurboTax!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many technicalities The system added into my taxes that I had a carryover credit from solar and wind energy; which I have never needed or used in my entire life. And it kept me from being able to use the efiling feature for my state taxes. I had to amend my entire federal filing just so I could properly indicate that I had never in fact NEVER received a carryover. (It’s also strange because when I went into the prompt to choose my answer for the question- it was blank… meaning that even though I had never selected it the system chose to recognize it in the affirmative instead of the negative) why does your system choose prompts that will be included in the filing? I should have that right on my own and this has completely derailed the course for my taxes. I’ve never had this issue before and it beyond confusing why this system (on its own;) has chosen to work against me… Consumers be wary when utilizing this tool! It has caused me a great deal of stress and I hope to prevent anyone else from experiencing what I have..
