Rated 1 out of 5 by from From former terrific desktop version to this The Windows desktop version that one downloaded was literally the most brilliant piece of software I had ever used. I was forced to the online version starting last year and what a horror show. No more clear prompts. No more ease of switching from step-by-step mode to a la carte mode. "Resume where you left off" makes you go through a bunch of steps you already completed. Where do I enter estimated taxes, I never saw a prompt. Where do I enter a carryover loss from a prior year, never saw a prompt. The constant sleazy entreaties to upgrade.Terrible overall experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Program, Just One Major Glitch I have been using TurboTax Business for many years and find it to be extremely user friendly. I haven't run into any problems with the program. It's powerful and covers everything I need to do the Trust and Partnership (LLC) returns I prepare. However, in both 2019 and 2020, I ran into a very annoying problem with the activation of the program. It seems that every time Microsoft does an update to Windows, it must erase some data field and TurboTax thinks I am installing it for the first time, asking for the license code again. I work on these returns throughout March and April each year and I end up getting a message that I have installed the program 5 times and that is all I get. So far the only resolution is to call TurboTax and they end up sending me another code. This is very time consuming and needs to be fixed. Without this issue, the program would be fantastic.
