Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great if you know a little about taxes Always been a good experience for years. Some years, the walkthrough is better than others. Sometimes the instructions are hard to follow OR don't logically follow through to the next section. Knowledge is required - and googling is important. The "help" feature doesn't always have the correct information. But, turbotax has always helped us get taxes done SAME DAY, as long as we have all our documents ready to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love TurboTax - Excellent Customer Service I have a very simple federal/state return but the refund didn't look right (I assumed I'd have to pay). I called the 800 number and received a call back between 5-10 minutes later. The Agent was excellent and reviewed my tax inputs. All was Good!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fees Are a SCAM I've used TurboTax for many years and have recommended it to countless friends and relatives. I won't be using it again next year, nor will I be suggesting it to anyone. The fees are outrageous and predatory. The $40 to pay with your Federal Return was the most upsetting, considering I must have missed it when I first selected it. By the time you're done and ready to submit your return, it's too late to go back and select a different option. After already charging a ridiculous amount for the cheapest filing option (when it used to be free), the $40 add-on was the proverbial icing on the cake. It left a terrible taste in my mouth and I will not be using this product again.
