Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good First year with turbo tax, always used HR Block. switched because turbo tax supported crytpo currency info better. Everything was good except having to fight with the software to do my state taxes in my state of legal residence as an Active Duty service member. It still made me file as a non-resident, which is incorrect.

I tried to use the free IRS.gov program and was so confused by the conflicting instructions that I gave up, and I am a highly educated person with a post graduate degree. Then I discovered Turbo Tax and it was great! The directions were simple yet thorough. I completed my taxes in a little over two hours.
