Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised! I didn't know exactly what to expect, especially in an "interview" mode, but the process was pretty well-organized. This was the first year of my wife being self-employed and TurboTax made that much simpler! I am a little concerned about the W-2c "alert"--I see that a lot of folks started getting that just within the past week which suggests to me that it is a TurboTax glitch. Like them, I don't see any way that the SS withholding was incorrect. Now we'll see how the refunds go!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This year is different and a little frustrating. I have always been very confident in using TurboTax; we've used it since our Tax guy retired. It's cheaper and more convenient, actually. This year, we had warnings for items that didn't make sense, the program kept insisting we defer self-employment tax (we're not self-employed), and there were numbers on screens for Farm income--it just felt a little glitchy. At the end of the day, the error checks helped me correct those items, so that is appreciated. I'm spoiled though, so I expect a smooth process from TurboTax. Looking forward to next year.
