Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps Getting Better I have been offered TurboTax Live for several years and have always turned it down because I felt my taxes were simple. 2020, however, was anything but! I am so glad I took advantage of it this year. I had a question related to unemployment income. I requested a phone call and was quoted a 5-minute wait time. Chanel called me in 2 minutes. She was friendly, professional, and respectful of my time. She asked good questions so that I could explain my question further and we were able to finish my taxes in just a few minutes. I also can't say enough about the TurboTax MAX Defense. The monthly emails provide me with peace of mind as an always-on-the-go kind of person. When I was pulling my credit this year for various home-ownership related needs I received quick and timely alerts. I know that TurboTax has my back. I have cancelled other Identity monitoring services because I feel that between regularly credit monitoring and TurboTax MAX Defense I have all that I need!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed this year I paid more for taxes this year than ever before all because my last health insurance policy required me to have an HSA account. $150 for state and federal together. I could have paid slightly more at a tax preparation service and have done no work. Rethinking returning next year been a loyal customer for 7 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasn’t too happy When I first decided to do TurboTax live I thought that my taxes would’ve been filed within a timely matter, well they weren’t it took my live expert two whole weeks to file for me, she sent me the wrong forms to be signed so I had to make two trips to the fed Ex store to print and sign the forms, and when we were ready to file it still took her 4 business days to file. I only decided to do this because I couldn’t figure a last step that I needed to complete before filing my taxes, if I would’ve known that it was going to take so long to file I would’ve not done it, when I reached out to her multiple times and she would finally answer she simply said that the IRS wasn’t open to process refunds yet. I understand that the IRS didn’t start processing refunds until February 12th but I’m usually one of the first people to get in line to receive my refund. It was also very frustrating that I couldn’t get a hold of my live expert, twice I had to call out to the help line to only be told that there wasn’t anything that they could do unless my account was released to them. I am very upset that this whole process cost me more than $400 and it was such poor service on the experts side. I have been with TurboTax for the past 10 years and I’m considering to change that next year.

One of the 10 year veteran turbo tax experts for letting me know that I don't need to pay $170 for the tax expert just to ask a question. You just need to call 8004468848 with the error (or part you are stuck on) shown on your screen before calling Turbo Tax. From there, a live person will screen share with you and direct you to help you solve your tax troubles for FREE. I just saved $170 from not knowing what i was doing with these honest tax experts. This support is the best and took a LARGE weight off my shoulders. I felt like jumping off a building 2 hours ago due to not understanding what was happening. This is only my second time filing my taxes on my own and i want to thank turbo tax for everything. God bless
