Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is awful. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. The last three years have been awful. Last year I was unable to file electronically and had to select the forms manually that I needed to file in order to print them. I swore last year I would never use Turbo Tax again and I should have stuck with it. I file one Federal and one State return and after three full days of trying to complete my returns I was charged $10 to file the state return even though it was supposed to be included in the purchase price. I have a simple return with only Social Security, 401K withdrawals, a separate account that some 401K withdrawal assets are transferred to and interest on bank savings account. It should not be this difficult to prepare tax returns.
