Si estás esperando ansiosamente que llegue tu cheque de rembolso o si lo han depositado en tu cuenta de cheques, no hay razón para que siga siendo un misterio. El IRS cuenta con una herramienta en línea llamada "¿Dónde Está Mi Rembolso?" que te permite comprobar el estado de aquel. Después de proporcionar cierta información personal, puedes saber cuándo va a llegar.

Revisando el estado de tu rembolso de impuestos en línea

Paso 1 - Espera

Espera por lo menos tres días después de tu presentación electrónica de la declaración de impuestos antes de comprobar el estado de tu rembolso. Al presentar electrónicamente tu declaración de impuestos al IRS, se necesitan aproximadamente tres días para actualizar tu información en el sitio web.

Si presentaste electrónicamente tu declaración de impuestos usando TurboTax, puedes revisar el estado en línea de tu presentación electrónica, para asegurarte de que fue aceptada por el IRS. También recibirás una confirmación por correo electrónico directamente desde el IRS.

Sin embargo, si envías por correo una copia de tu declaración de impuestos, el IRS recomienda que esperes tres semanas antes de comenzar la comprobación del estado de tu rembolso. Paso 2 - Obtener una copia de tu declaración de impuestos

Si no tienes acceso a Internet o a una computadora, puedes llamar al IRS al 800-829-1954 para obtener el estado de tu rembolso. Necesitarás la misma información como la utilizada en la herramienta en línea, así que asegúrate de también tener una copia de tu declaración de impuestos.
