Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax doesn't fix anything year after year. Same questions I've asked since 2017. You haven't fixed a one. Then add to this list that it was impossible to reset my lost pwd so I ended using a guest account. The verification code would just bring me to the same screen, using the other method said there was no such account, entering phone # said no such phone #, Piece of garbage 1. Why can't you have help link to the question on every page? Similar to the IRS explaination help for each line on a form? For example: If I type your question into the Find box, "Did you put some of your HSA contributions into spouse's HSA?", it searches forever under Top Questions and comes up with nothing. Useless. 2. And I've complain about this topic every year, since you have little linked help, why can't you cut and paste out of your form these phrases you ask, so we can paste them into search boxes? No you make us type out the dumb questions that you have no linked help on. 3. Why once you answered certain questions, like, "Did you earn money in foreign country, or Does this uncommon situation apply to you?" etc.. and you want to go back and check all through your answers, why does it reset the answers?? It does this in a number of places whether you saved the file or not. 4. Turbotax is saying "We see [spouse] had a break in HDHP health plan coverage during 2017" which is not correct. Where can I correct this information? " This is so poorly explained in Turbotax...oh wait a minute it isn't explained at all. BLT - answer none to previous question even it sounds wrong. This question is poorly phrased in TurboTax for multiple years now, are you ever going to clear this up?. 5. Did you inherit this HSA? It's not common, but we have to check. If you inherited this HSA from a spouse, answer NO. Clear as mud. So if you didn't inherit, you answer what, YES? This make no sense. This question is poorly phrased in TurboTax for multiple years now, are you ever going to clear this up?. 6. Why does Turbotax continue to install other state taxes that I once used many, many years ago?? 7. Why do you have to re-enter the same 1099-HC information every year? Why can't turbotax automatically insert it? I retype the same exact info for multiple people every year??? This is ridulous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I do not like the online Turbo Tax!!! I have been using Turbo Tax for almost twenty years. Turbo Tax Online was terrible!!! Some buttons do not work, I could not review my information prior to filing even though there was a button to review. SO far I have not had the option to print or save my taxes to my local computer. If nothing changes I will not be using Turbo Tax next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Out there Taxes are a degrading and barbaric American ritual. Turbotax is a guide through the BS to the promised land of peace, until you have to do it again next year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Helpful but frustrating This was helpful for the tax return completion, but for two years in a row we were unable to have it accepted online by the IRS (and by default, our state). So last year year we had to file both by mail, and this year our daughter's, by mail, yet we paid the $25 fees expecting it to be online filing. why isn't the IRS accepting our returns--Turbo doesn't know?!? We're told nothing. Disappointing. Won't use again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from two years running with same issue I appreciate that TurboTax gets the job done, but the experience is terrible. It keeps timing out and sending me back to the beginning. There needs to be a way to stay in the right spot in the program while I'm working on it. There also needs to be a better way to get help when I'm in a particular part of the tax return. This year, I found that I needed to go into the individual form to understand how turbotax was performing its calculations. In some ways the forms are easier to understand than turbotax - which is saying something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is a good tool but need some improvement I have been using TT for over 22 years. I see some improvements but I see some good features have been taken away. I wish their help pop up was more user friendly with more examples. Areas of improvement: 1 - On the Tax Payment option panel, why don't you transfer my checking account information you already have on file? Why do I have to enter my bank account number again? 2 - Please remove the "erase tax filing" tab on the left side of the screen and make it a two or three step decision in case someone accidentally click on it. I almost did it today and that would have been a disaster 3 - Add a bit of more explanation on each page so we don't have to search your library many times during the process. 4 - Make it easier to jump to a particular form/page so I don't have to go through a long list of options before I get into my form. Thanks
