Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is not crypto ready We have been using Turbotax for 10 years and overall the experience improved. It is relatively easy to file your taxes. Last year though they took THREE months (3!) to correctly implement the $10000 threshold for unemployment payments to be not taxed, this year it was very difficult to correctly input the interest from the 1099-MISC through crypto currencies, so it will not be subject to self-employment medicare taxes. Overall a good product, but the devil is in the detail and if you are not in tune with taxes and know what you have to watch out for, this could become very expensive for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Always at least one glitch During the "review" process, it always manages to find something stupid, like too many characters in a Payor or some unchecked box. Then there is no easy way to fix it during the review process...and the form was just a worksheet that didn't need to be filed and it held up electronic filing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Schedule B I believe that there is a programming error with Schedule B. Unlike the rest of the return, Schedule prints with "cents". After three hours (on three seprate calls) with TurboTax, nobody could answer my question about fixing the problem. Access to high level technical support was impossible. Becuase the filing deadline is Friday, I was forced to e-file my return with information that directly contradicts the IRS Schedule B Instructions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is awesome! I enjoy that Turbo Tax "checks in" with you as you're filing. Tax season is stressful to me because I feel I don't always understand everything perfectly, and I am an honest person so I want to fill everything out correctly. Turbo Tax has helped take some of the stress away through the seamless way they have you fill out the forms and check in to make sure you're doing okay through the process. Good service!
