Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still excellent product, but support is lacking. The product is pretty easy to navigate through. I've been using it for many years and I trust it. Being able to import info from prior returns is a lifesaver, especially when it comes to depreciation schedules. Sometimes explanations are confusing but with a little more online research using IRS website or other sources, I can usually figure it out. I never was able to figure out the Foreign Tax Credit though, and it would have been nice to get a little better instruction. TTax Community can be really helpful but the Search function pulls up a lot of irrelevant material and sometimes it's just too much to wade through to find the answer to my question. Live support was disappointing this year. I have trouble finding the instructions for accessing Live Support, but maybe that's just me. In past years I've reached very efficient, helpful and knowledgeable agents who walked me through the solutions to my questions. This time I had to Google the Live Support number. I got in the queue to have an agent call me back. About 2 minutes later I got a call-back that said they were sorry they had been unable to reach me and this was their last attempt! Since it was the first call-back I received, that was kind of annoying. I went back through the queue process a second time, and I reached a man who obviously either had a cold or bad allergies, and he snorted and sniffled and breathed so loudly in my ear that I had to turn the volume down. (Maybe in your training, let your agents hear what it's like on the customer end of the line when they make odd noises.) Although he was pleasant enough and I think he was trying, he couldn't answer my question, and he seemed to be reading instructions. After waiting several minutes for help from a colleague or higher-up who never replied, he finally said he was going to transfer me to an expert. That call was auto-answered with a message that I could pay an extra $100+ if I wanted to talk to someone! I buy TTax specifically because it comes with Live Support. Unfortunately, he was more of a call screener, and I resented being asked for another $100+ to talk to someone who actually had subject matter knowledge. I paid extra to enroll in TTax Advantage a couple of months ago when I downloaded the 2020 materials, and Live Support is supposedly included. I eventually figured out the answer on my own, but there's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. Sorry, I'm a little frazzled after working on taxes non-stop for about a month. BUT most people who call for support are probably pretty frazzled so please try to streamline the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Turbo Tax The only problem I had was completing the section regarding mortgage interest because I paid my house off several years ago and have no mortgage or interest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy anymore Been using turbotax for years but it's time to make a switch. This is the second year in a row that i've paid way too much to file and end up having to print and mail the returns instead of e-file. I contacted a representative about fixing my return and the info she gave me didn't fix it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Just Fine TurboTax is a quality product. I've been using it since 1989. It is efficient and has incorporated very informative "HELP" features. This year I had a little trouble when I used my credit card to pay for state e-File, I got stuck in a loop when attempting to enter credit card info. I initially was asked to login to the Intuit site using the TurboTax app then got redirected to the Inuit website where it required me to login again, then after filling in card info and ordering payment, I got in a loop where TurboTax did not refresh and the screen still only offered the two options to pay by credit card or deduct fee from my return. I tried the credit card button again and it sent me back to login to Intuit for the third time. So I closed the Intuit site login sreen in my browser and then TurboTax seemed to refresh properly.
