Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is a great value for me overall. I have been using TurboTax as well as TurboTax Business for many years. Compared with hiring a tax accountant, I have found that TurboTax provides great value. This is not to say that I never needed help from a certified accountant, but that the value I have received from TurboTax has been much better. Here are a few reasons why: 1. Working with a CPA required me to provide all accurate date/records anyway. So I have found that entering that same information into TurboTax was more direct. 2. While TurboTax often requires the use of 3rd party tools and expertise for specialized tax situations, I have found the same to be true when using a CPA (e.g. most CPA would not know how to handle Cryptocurrency transactions or foreign asset transactions. This means that I would have to use external help/tools anyway, but with a CPA it would cost me a lot more. 3. TurboTax offers Audit Defense for a very reasonable fee 4. The TurboTax support forums and online community helps a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best value in tax prep and processing TT has the best value for all the service you get, fully automated as you use it each year, less redundant blank filling. Only issue is sometimes TT fails to fill in lines on forms or it seems that way because I have to fill in on the error check.
