Rated 3 out of 5 by from Auto Filing ERRORS encountered an error trying to efile my federal return. Rechecked -- Could not resolve. No help available from Turbotax. Blocked my state filings also -- so now I have 3 paper files going out. even though I paid for electronic. I'll survive, but not a happy experience... Successful in filing previous years.... Spouse filing fine...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax failed to transmit electronics--failure! Turbotax gave me a failure to transmit every time I tried to e-file. I spent an hour on the phone with technical support. They gave up and instruction to print and mail. I had to print 78 pages for Federal and 101 pages for my state return. The biggest value of TT used to be the ability to e-file. What value is there now?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Form 1041 mis-handles PPP loan forgiveness Longtime user. 2021 version when filing 1041 for a trust does not correctly handle pass-through PPP loan forgiveness. For incoming K-1, you have to omit the PPP code/amount and manually override tax-exempt income on 1041 page 3 line 1 to meet IRS requirement. There is no place to attached the required statement nor does the program output the pass-through PPP proceeds or its statement on the outgoing K-1 to beneficiary. TTax fixed this for 1065 and 1120-S (part of same TTax for Business software), but refused to do so for 1041. Very poor support, spent a lot of hours with them in circles.
