Rated 1 out of 5 by from Forced to upgrade because of robinhood tax forums Charged an extra 250$ for robinhood forums, that were easily auto uploaded to the file. there was 0 reason to have the turbo tax premium live because it did not save me anything in deductions in all honesty it did nothing I couldn't do myself. feel like i was ripped off..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax kept a dreadful task dreadful Rarely was TurboTax helpful. Most of the times turbo tax uses the tax terminology that is unknown by regular people. They do have glossaries and so on but those give only enough context for tax experts. For a lay person, it's impossible to fill out a tax return with confidence if you have anything beyond income from employment. Even then, there are many questions that leave you guessing what the right answer is. There is no way around a person that prepares your taxes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tax form capture wrong cannot be edited I cannot update the state from ID to CA for one of my little 1099 DIV form. To bypass the error for zip code for E-File, I have to enter the wrong zip code to match ID as a state, which is crazy. Need to improve the tech. Also very hard to find how to correct a field on a form. Not for experienced tax filer.
