Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to File Difficult to Find Answers TurboTax is easy to file but not easy to find answers to questions. I need to ask a couple of questions for immediate answers and cannot find where to ask those questions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No scenario comparison? TurboTax has the capability to show you what the difference would be from filing married to single filing separately. It chooses not to do that. It would cause you to completely re-enter information for both scenarios. Some information would have to be modified, but this is not enough to make this feature unavailable and does not align with the rest of the companies' character. Do better instead of looking for pats on the head for doing nothing different than you have for years.

The questions and prompts through the tax filing process make it easy to follow, but there are some confusing things like where royalty income is reported on a 1099-MISC the program won't advance if you don't name a business. For an 80+ woman who doesn't operate the business and receives a mere $58 annually, it seems another option should be added to the program to contemplate the retiree who ONLY gets royalties and hasn't a thing to do with operations or ownership.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MO Your program can't even do 2nd grade arithmetic correctly! Failed to do so on my federal return which will now go thru manually processing requiring me to file an amended return because you can't subtract 2 lines on form 1040 correctly. There is NO EXCUSE for that.
