Rated 3 out of 5 by from Software Generally Good. Support, not so much. The basic tax preparing process went pretty well. I had two problems. First, I understood the filing of my state return was included in the purchase price. This was not the case. When trying to file and pay, I could not get the payment process to work. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Intuit with no resolution. I was ultimately disconnected. I eventually got the process to work. Second, when trying to file, I got an error for a payee name too long on a worksheet. There is no direct method, I could find, to quickly repair the error. The name came from the forms I downloaded from the payees website. I was eventually able to find and change the length from 'Corporation' to 'Corp'. I though this was a gratuitous error that Intuit could easily have suggested a fix and implemented same with my approval.

If I didn't already have a very good idea of Taxes, and my own personal income tax situation, I would have a difficult time in preparing my return. My return is not complex, I have retirement income and I file the standard deduction.
