Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tax Preparation made easy So I typically really like using Turbo Tax because it makes my taxes go faster, things are readily calculated, it's neat and I have a copy. However, a problem appeared that could not be fixed while trying to use the online version. At first, I was advised that the standard deduction would be better for me, but when I added a few more items, it changed to using itemized deductions. That was fine, except that once I changed to itemized deductions, my cash donations would not be corrected on the form and I couldn't move any further. I contacted support and they couldn't figure out the problem either. I ended up having to re-enter all of my data on the computer version--plus I spent hours on the phone with the tax expert. This was not a tax problem - it needed a programmer to fix the problem and that didn't happen. The problem still exists.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from turbo cost to much Was able to connect with tax consultant within two minutes. She was able to help me resolve the tax issue very quickly. She was able to educate me on the new changes to fileing my taxes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from probably the last year filing with turbo tax, I've been a customer for over 5 years now, maybe my memory is bad but i never recall paying an additional 40 to have the fee taken out of the tax return. i also could not remove the option by going back and reviewing everything again. still quick and easy though

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Prices Keep Going UP! So, this year I paid $52 for the CD version of Deluxe. Now to e-File, I just paid an extra $25 to e-File my State tax as well. Funny, though, there was NO Option to e-File my Federal and NOT e-File my State. This is for me; when I use the program to file my daughter's taxes, I expect that I will have to pay another $35 for the State, and another $25 to e-file each. We are getting close to the BALK value. An accountant does not charge this much.

I recommend TurboTax to all my family and friends because it simply couldn’t get any easier. Their app is also a fantastic! It helps you keep track of your credit score with countless tools and support on raising it. Thank you TurboTax!
