Rated 3 out of 5 by 1234rp from NO STATE PRINT FILING At the point of filing, the software asks to efile Federal and State. When opting NOT to efile State, there is no further guidance or printing of the State return. After more than 30 years, your developers should not have missed that.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
