Rated 1 out of 5 by from Everything went well until the electronic filing Turbotax has eliminated a lot of glitches over the years, but an almost show-stopper occurred with paying the electronic filing fee for the state return. The continue button takes you to a login window for your Intuit account, which requires either phone of email verification. I chose phone and provided the supplied code. Then the verification window appears again requiring email verification. Why - I verified via phone. I can log into my Intuit account via a browser window without a problem. Then I check my Intuit account security settings and see that email verification is required for the account. I do that and try the TT Intuit login window again for email verification - no email. It turns out it takes a while for the email to get out of their system through the ISP. When you are filing taxes, a security reset should not be enforced when logging into your Intuit account to pay a filing fee, especially given the identification information already provided for electronic filing. It was a so-close yet-so-far moment I don't want to have to experience again. Maybe it's time to see how mature the H&R Block software will be for 2021?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not easy. Assumes prior knowledge of needed form. I will be using an accountant next year. This was not clear cut and simple and I would rather pay extra than to have to navigate your program again for my mother's irrevocable trust.
