However, it is sometimes difficult to locate a category (e.g., sale of second home) since it is "hidden" in other investments. I also am quite annoyed at having to pay $25 for my one and only state filing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Pretty Good I've used turbo tax for many years. For my 2020 taxes I did have a small issue with a 1099-B. A Cost Basis box kept popping up over and over. I entered my info, numerous times for what appeared like the same field. It finally let me through. It wasn't very specific on the error, and the view of the form was poor.
