Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but with some flaws I liked the ability to import forms directly from banks and investment firms. As far as I know the software examined things correctly and made the right interpretations. Why I dinged it was because it did not automatically update to include the filing date extension into May. Further the software flagged an "error" during the filing process that it should have caught upfront. A 1099-R was entered entirely correctly but it had a blank where state distribution (box 16) was. Box 14 showed taxes paid to the state. Only on trying to file did it flag that the box 14 amount shouldn't be more than the box 16 amount. To fix the problem I had to manual enter the Box 1 amount into Box 16 even though the form I received had Box 16 blank. Felt like I was cheating.
