Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1099-MISC issue constant loop I usually love using Turbo Tax. This year I received a 1099-MISC for a lawsuit settlement. I entered all of the information on the form correctly but I continued to get asked to enter taxable attorneys fees. I found some help on the community chat that indicated to enter $0. After entering that in I was asked to input information from Schedule C. I am not self-employed and could not get past this issue. There seems to be no workaround and it required me to mail my return. The whole point of using Turbo Tax for me is to electronically file my return. I paid ahead of time since you charge $40 to have it taken out of my tax return which prevented me from starting all over to try and fix the supposed issue. I will be looking at other options to file my return in the future due to this huge inconvenience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glitch and unable to back out of state filing I can't remove state because for some reason TurboTax charges you before even submitting the filings. Because they have a glitch with Ohio school district taxing and doesn't recognize that I live in a school district that does not need to file, it won't allow the filing and I can't remove. Very unhappy with this experience.
