Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is frustrating this year I've been using Turbo Tax since 2016 and have found it to be satisfactory until this year. I received an error that a depreciation value was too large but the software didn't explain on how to fix it. I ended up opening the form and changed the value to zero. It didn't affect the amount of the refund. Why didn't the software put the maximum amount? When I tried to file electronically it was rejected because my spouse's previous year's AGI didn't match what was in the data base. The software indicated that it would walk me through it. However the figure was what was on my 2020 return. There was no instruction on how to fix it so it looks like I will have to file by mail. Lastly, I'm confused on why when I print the State return it includes Federal forms. Very frustrated to the point that I may not use Turbo Tax next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing, frustrating, and more expensive! After my filing experience this year, I will not be returning to Turbotax. I was unable to import my return from last year because "The file was too big". I then had to pay another $45 each for 2 state editions, then another $25 each to file each state return on top of the $35 I paid for the federal edition. Since the import from last year failed, all information had to be manually entered. That was the biggest reason I stayed with Turbotax. This year's experience was disappointing, frustrating, and more expensive! I will be looking for alternatives next year. You will be losing a 20+ year customer after this poor experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Charged I was charged the $25 for my state tax return even thoughit was rejectedand I had to mail them in. I would like my money back. My gross income from last year was pulled in from last years taxes so I don't know why it was rejected. It happened last year as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is kinda easy. I used the premiere edition for home and business. our business is rental property. When it came to questions, the HELP feature answered all of them in one way or another. Having ready links to the IRS Bulletins was very helpful. This is my sixth straight year. Each year is getting harder to understand. TT could add more details to the question to discern between payroll deductions and independent monies going to HSA, 401K and other deductions. The review feature captured several important errors. More help in the depreciation area would be helpful to determine if the depreciation should be taken or not.
