Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is Great About 12 years ago I had an accountant do my taxes. When I got them back I thought no way, I was having to pay too much. I purchased Turbo Tax did my own taxes and saved myself about $250.00. Ive been using Turbo Tax every since.

I have mostly filed myself before, although i did once use a (very expensive) CPA service that did it right but didn't really justify the cost. Edgar found us savings I would not have found on my own and filed documents that were otherwise very difficult and time consuming for me to be able to file correctly. We're very grateful for Edgar's help, close attention and friendly approach that made the anxieties of filing a complicated return seem totally manageable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbotax needs work I've used TurboTax for more than 10 years and, sadly, over the past two years the quality of the product is declining. In my case, the quality of the product with regard to entering and processing foreign taxes is terrible. I invest internationally and incur passive non-qual and qual dividends that are taxed by immediately withdrawing income from my accounts. I have no active or earned foreign income. this should be relatively simple to process but TTx screws it up making for more busy work on my part. If there is a "carry-forward" then the wheels really come off the track. This requires adult attention from management!
