Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is not as user friendly as it claims! I am just a little frustrated with TurboTax. This was my first time filing and everyone told me it would be so easy and free with TurboTax. First of all it was not free and I'm still not sure as to why but that is not my real issue. My frustration lies with the fact that after my return was rejected I looked into the problem and researched the forms it was saying I needed. After concluding that the form it was asking me for wasn't needed for my return I tried to use the website to right the wrong. It said the problem was fixed and then rejected my return again. I called and spoke with a live person twice to try to help me resolve this issue with no success and neither person could explain the problem to me. This process has been extremely stressful for me and not at all confident in filing my return. I will say customer service was polite but NOT helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I paid $300+ dollars for no extra help I did the upgrade to talk to a tax specialist which ended up being quite costly. I was concerned I was being double taxed since I worked in 2 states. The first 3 "experts" I spoke to told me they did not know the answer to my question. I was put on hold/on a call list for al long time to talk to state specialist and the call dropped at which point I reviewed my own file, found the answer to my question in a couple of minutes, and utterly regretted upgrading to premier. I received nothing from my premier upgrade. I will say the live specialist that I spoke with over webcam was friendly and professional, but again, she did not help me with my problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not perfect The filing section was confusing. I marked the state part for paper filing but still had trouble keeping it straight. The 2021 program would not recognize last year's return so I had to enter all the data again.
